Do I need insurance or a doctor's order to get tested?
No. SchoolTiters/LabReqs is a self-pay service and doesn't bill insurance. Every eligible order includes the physician's order required for testing, so there's no separate doctor's appointment needed.
How fast will I get my results?
Most lab results are available within 24 to 72 hours after your blood draw or collection, depending on the specific test and lab processing schedule.
Can I pay with HSA or FSA funds?
Yes, if your plan allows it. Eligible HSA and FSA payment methods are accepted at checkout.
Can I order testing for a minor (under 18)?
Yes. A parent or legal guardian can order titer testing on behalf of a minor and consent to the blood draw. SchoolTiters is one of the few direct-to-consumer labs that accepts patients under 18.
Are the labs CLIA-certified?
Yes. All testing is processed through CLIA-certified national reference labs (Quest, LabCorp, CRL, Abbott, CPL) — the same labs hospitals use.
Is testing available in every state?
Almost everywhere, but not all. Direct-to-consumer lab testing isn't currently available through LabReqs in New York, New Jersey, or Rhode Island.
